Associate of Arts in Pre-Nursing
The Associate of Arts in Pre-Nursing is a two-year degree that prepares the student to apply to a bachelor level nursing program at the end of two years to go on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). In essence, the Associate of Arts in Pre-Nursing is the first step and the first two years of a four-year BSN program. Students who complete the Associate of Arts in Pre-Nursing can apply to SEU's BSN nursing program in Lakeland, Florida for their junior and senior years of college, or they can apply to nursing programs at other universities in Ohio and in other states. The first two years can be done completely online through SEU Ohio or at the SEU Ohio campus as a hybrid program with in-person and online classes.

With SEU's Associate of Arts in Pre-Nursing, students will gain an educational foundation in a Christian worldview that emphasizes servant-based leadership and compassion for the underserved, allowing them to better support the sick and terminally ill, their families, and communities. Courses include general education classes and foundational mathematics and science courses for the nursing field. Students will also have the opportunity to complete a pre-nursing internship.
