Heartland Conference Retreat Center
SEU Ohio classes take place on the grounds of the Heartland Conference Retreat Center during the academic year. SEU Ohio students who wish to relocate to the Marengo area can find their own nearby apartment, or they can take advantage of Heartland's housing, meal plan, and ammenities. Heartland offers traditional dorm living for guests, a peaceful setting, and exceptional recreational opportunities. Located just off I-71 about 25 minutes north of Polaris, students can find jobs and practicum opportunities in the area at Heartland, at the Marengo interchange, nearby in Sunbury and Delaware, or in the northern Columbus/Polaris area.
Sycamore
Sycamore rooms include beds, dressers, wardrobes, and desk space. The indoor common area includes comfortable seating, hangout space, and a small-scale kitchen. Outside, enjoy the private firepit and picnic area. Class in Buckeye and food at Oakwood is a short walk away.
Amenities
Heartland amenities include access to outdoor basketball courts, an indoor gymnasium, sand volleyball courts, frisbee golf, beautiful hiking and nature trails, and the outdoor pool. As an SEU Ohio student, you'll have exclusive access to the ACE student center with work-out equipment, showers, laundry facilities, library, and study space. Student activities may include teambuilding experiences on the ropes course and in archery, axe-throwing, spike-ball tournaments, bonfires, indoor game nights, and much more.
